Home study booklet traffic school

Licensed by the State of California
DMV license #E8579

If you received a citation in California and choose traffic school, this booklet program might be exactly what you’re looking for.  When you enroll in this class, you get to take the class at home and you do not need a computer.    First of all, you must obtain permission from the court to attend traffic school.  Most drivers are eligible to attend traffic school every 18 months.

How does it work

After you enroll, we will send a booklet and paper test to your home. You can also pick up the booklet at our office in Hayward.  Read and answer the questions at your own pace. Once completed, return the test to us for grading. Be sure to finish the course before the deadline set by the court.

Additional info

  • Identity questions – Important Tip: It’s a DMV requirement to confirm your identity in order to attend a traffic school class at home.  We will ask you identity questions that only you would know such as your favorite color.   We recommend you write these answers down for reference.  If you return your test and any your identity questions are incorrect, the test will be void per the DMV requirements and you will be required to start over and take a new test. If you forget your answers, simply request a copy of the identity questions and the traffic school will provide that to you.
  • Participation questions: While reading the booklet, you will need to answer 22 questions. You must correctly answer at least 70% of the Participation Questions (16 out of 22).
