Learn to drive safely,
with confidence and precision™

                                                                                                               Returning Students

Our Driving Instructors are professionals and have a genuine concern for traffic safety.  Learning to drive will be a pleasant and positive experience with Bay Area Driving School. Lessons are given Monday – Saturday. The instructor will conduct the lesson according to the student’s skill level.

Beginners

Students with little to no driving experience will be given a short demonstration drive and introduction to vehicle controls. The first lesson generally covers vehicle control, left & right turns, visual search skills, reading intersections, smooth stops, intro to light traffic and curb parking.  Receive a written evaluation of your driving performance and an estimate of additional training needed.  We specialize in nervous adults.

DMV review

This lesson is devoted entirely to the DMV road test preparation.  This course is designed for students who have an upcoming test and want to ensure that they are ready to pass.  Students will learn the DMV procedures, rating system, most common automatic failures and additional tips on how to pass at your local DMV.

Piggyback system / semi-private lessons

Some of our instructors us the popular industry piggyback system.  This means at the end of the 1st student’s lesson we will pick up the next student before dropping off the 1st student.  If the next student has zero driving experience, the instructor will do a demonstration drive back to the 1st student’s drop off location.  The time aside from the piggyback will be a completely private lesson.  If you would like to request a completely private lesson, please inform the office upon scheduling.  Parents and spouses not allowed to ride along.
