Dublin Driving Lessons

We love Dublin!  The owners of Bay Area Driving School are Dublin residents! We offer top quality, in-car driving instruction for teens & adults.  We also do remedial lessons and assessments for seniors.    

We can pick you up at your home, school or work. Our instructors are experts in the traffic patterns and challenges specific to Hayward and Alameda County.

Typical driving lessons

Typical lessons in Dublin include practice near Kolb & Mape parks.  We often practice near Silvergate, Well Middle School and Village Parkway.  When students build more confidence and skill, we will train on busier streets like Dublin Blvd., San Ramon Valley Blvd., Doherty and Fallon areas.    

Hills

You may also get experience in the hills of Dublin near Silvergate & Inspiration Drive.  When students are ready for more complex traffic areas, we will train on Foothill Road and in Downtown Pleasanton.

Freeways

When ready, drivers will practice on I-680, I-580.

Many parents prefer a pick up from school and drop off at home.  We can pick up at any high school in Dublin including:

DMV Information for Dublin Residents

Stoneridge Mall:  Located at 2621 Stoneridge Mall Unit G225B 

Here’s some handy information specific to the Stoneridge Mall DMV location: 

• Be aware of all the speed limits, especially on Stoneridge Drive – try to match the speed limit when safe to do so. 
• When making a left turn with a center turn lane, must signal, check mirrors and look over shoulder prior to entering the center turn lane  
• When making a right turn – be sure to end in the right lane
• Unprotected left turn must be made safely.  Yield to anyone close enough to be dangerous. 
• Consider signing up for a 2-hour DMV review or use our vehicle for the Drive Test.

Erika is a wonderful instructor. Not only is she good at teaching but she also has a great personality that help people feel at ease so students can focus on learning.
